LaVar Ball 'restructuring' Big Baller Brand, says company is 'alive and well'

LaVar Ball dismissed questions around his family-run business, Big Baller Brand, reassuring that the company is still "alive and well!"

"The brand has been restructuring, and we are working to reveal the new website in the next few weeks," Ball said in a tweeted statement Wednesday.

Ball reassured that he has "a great team of seasoned professionals in place to move the brand forward" and he has plans to have "exciting new products, along with signature shoes and sportswear."

The statement comes after Action Network business reporter Darren Rovell wrote on Twitter: "The Big Baller Brand is offi

cially dead. The site now forwards to the Baller Financial Network, created by LaVar’s former business partner Alan Foster, who the Balls are suing for allegedly embezzling $1.5 million from Lonzo."

Ball's statement clarifies that Big Baller Brand's website will have a new look and URL: www.BigBallerBrandInc.com.

There have been questions about the company's operations since Ball and Foster had a financial and legal dispute. Ball's son Lonzo cut ties with the company and filed a lawsuit in April, alleging Foster "used his access to my business and personal finances to enrich himself," according to ESPN.

"Unfortunately, Alan Foster continues to try and leverage the Ball Family name for his own personal gain," Ball said Wednesday. "Alan Foster is a convicted felon who served 7 years in jail for defrauding people out of their money. He is a thief and con man and cannot be believed or trusted."

Foster, however, alleges that LaVar Ball embezzled more than $2.6 million from BBB and other companies connected to the Ball family, per legal documents obtained by The Blast earlier this month. The Ball family has denied Foster's claims.
